Our mission is to provide financial support for innovative educational projects not ordinarily available through the districts’ operating budgets.
The PIE Foundation supports four public school districts in DuPage County, Illinois. Together these districts include two large high schools, four middle schools and fifteen elementary schools. Combined, these schools serve more than 12,000 students, from pre-kindergarten through high school. They employ more than 700 teachers, administrators, and support staff.

The boundaries of the School Districts supported by PIE encompass a number of communities within DuPage County. Included are all or portions of the following municipalities: Addison, Bensenville, Elmhurst, Itasca, Lombard, Oak Brook, Oakbrook Terrace, Villa Park, and Wood Dale. Also included are a number of unincorporated sections of DuPage County.
